“ I suppose I should have come along here sooner, to let you know just how much I appreciate you and your music.
First of all, your music is so inspiring.
The kind of stuff that can help you get through those really rough days, (You've been there through some of mine recently, and I don't know if I can tell you how much your music has helped.)
I hope to be able to be here to watch all of your future albums come out, and watch your fanbase grow.
All in all, thank you for being so amazing.
And here's well wishes for everything you do in the future because you deserve only the best. - Jo”

"We all love when Andy Kimbel stops in to close out the evening at The Bothy Folk Club at the Mermaid Inn Philadelphia. He steps up to the plate and blasts out home runs without much thought. Just starts playing and songs come out. The guitar work is awesome and it flows like no tomorrow. One of the best Kimbel! Thanks for doing it and Thanks Mike McNichol for doing such a grand job running it!"
Congrats from BlueRick...#1 on the Country Rock and Country Pop charts...may it put money in your pockets...

Hi Andy, just wanted to let you know you're an amazing guitarist and teacher and it's a mystery to me why you aren't huge on youtube! All I can suggest is keep coming out with covers and how-to's of stuff that's both good and popular, and the subscribers will follow

"Just adding my 2 and a half cents for whatever they are worth. I think with what the others here have said through the years. Andy Kimbel is among the best acoustic guitar players I have ever seen. It is not just the music, it is the feel and emotion, diversity, flow, I guess his uniqueness. It all comes together for a truly wonderful listening experience. I have not seen him around in a while but do listen to his songs on Reverb Nation and other web sites.
So Kimbel, Where you be? Time to get out again and entertain us wanna be guitar players who would give about anything to do even half of what you do with that instrument and your songs!"
"I caught the tail end of a showcase of sorts in time to see Andy Kimbel do just a few songs. He is very good. I don't know why he doesn't get more attention. He is quite the performer with great stage presence, a good sense of humor and a pretty amazing guitar player."
Hey, I ran across your website while looking for recommendations. I really like your songs! I've put you on my playlist for good. Thanks for the great music! Take care - Roshana
"Quite Amazing guitar work. At times, he sounds like he is playing two guitars at once. He writes good songs and performs them well. You should see him if you get the chance." M. Kirshner
"(: Agreed.
I saw Andy Kimbel with a band he picked up in New York. Without much rehearsal so they said, these guys seemed so comfortable like they have been together for years. Andy came up with new material on the spot and the band was right there with him. Kimbel is a master of the acoustic guitar. The band threw in some covers that rocked like Folsom Prison Blues, A John Prine song that I forgot the title (Angel Montgomery I think), and a great version of Hiatt’s Through Your Hands. Kimbel had a guitar tuned like Keith Richards or close to it as the sound was very Rolling Stones."
"(: Agreed.
Would love to see Andy Kimbel with a band. Must have been pretty great."
"Andy Kimbel's show at the Empire was amazing. He is a musicians musician. The songs and guitar playing just flow like I have never seen before. I like the album quite a bit but must say I am waiting for the new stuff to be released (way passed due!)"
