“Andy Kimbel is one of the most amazing guitar players and a talented instructor. Within an hour, I was versed in every major chord shape and found my self being able to make really great music moving up and down the guitar neck with ease. He makes every thing make so much sense and pretty easy to digest.

Andy has been at this for quite a while and it shows. He cuts right to the chase and has you playing what would be considered to be pretty advanced guitar work right out of the gate and makes it seem easy. He is inspiring, patient, creative, funny and his ability on the guitar is up there with the very best in the country if not the world.

I have since taken several lessons and really can not believe what I am able to do having played the guitar for such a short time. To spend time with this guy is an honor, especially after realizing who he is. I looked him up on the Internet after my first session and couldn't believe that he is my guitar instructor. I had actually seen him perform at the Philly Folk Fest a while back.

The downside is that Andy will be in the area on a very temporary basis. There is so much bang for the buck! If you read this in time, I would call there and see if you can schedule a few sessions. I should also add that in general, the studio set up and staff at Sam Ash are very professional and provide for a great environment to take lessons.”
